Life these last couple of weeks has been all about spending time together as a family of 3 before becoming a family of 4 in just a couple of weeks (or less....come on, Baby!). We've visited the grandparents, played outside, and baked away a couple of rainy days. Enjoy my little recap. :)
Playing guitar (or the "bopbop," as she calls it) with Daddy is a favorite activity around here.
We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house a couple of weekends ago for a fundraiser/going away party for my sister in law who has moved to Zambia. Grandma's house is also great for playing with the world's most patient cat, exploring, and enjoying walks down Virginia back roads, not to mention all the fun we have with aunties and uncles!
Husband had a rare overnight business trip last week, so Sweet A and I decided to go visit my parents for the night. The 3rd photo in this group is of my sweet little girl dancing under the very arbor where Husband and I said "I do" just a few years ago. If that doesn't melt a momma's heart I don't know what does! <3 Also, watching my daughter play blocks with my dad? Priceless. :)
My girl looooovessss to cook with me! She dumps in the ingredients and helps stir and anything else I'll let her do. In the last week we've made a number of things including granola (as you can see, her favorite part is the dried cranberries) and several batches of date balls, which are her new favorite treat. "Date ball" was literally the first thing out of her mouth when she woke up yesterday morning! I guess there are worse things I could feed her!
We've added leaf-collecting and plane-watching to our list of favorite activities.
And in case anyone is wondering how our backyard remodel...
